Here's a Teaser from a new Article at exWitch Australia entitled CHARISMATIC AND EVANGELICAL OCCULTISM... I am sure it will ruffle more than a few feathers... but *shrugs* that's never stopped me in the past... ;-D

When His disciples asked Jesus what the signs would be of the nearness of His return and the end of the world, the first sign He gave them was religious deception: "Don't let anyone mislead you" - Matthew 24:4 His reply came as a warning. He went on to explain the nature of the deception, repeating this first and most important sign three times:

"Many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah.' They will lead many astray... And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray... For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones. See, I have warned you." - Matthew 24:5, 11, 24-25 (emphasis added).

Obviously, Christ's warning is not about atheists or rank unbelievers or leaders of some opposing non-Christian religion. There is no deceit involved in such frontal assaults. Christ's warning is about a deception which is all the more subtle because it comes from within the church - and in His name! more > >

PLEASE NOTE: Due to its sheer size, this article has been broken down into three sections, each of which can be read as a separate article in their own right. However, it is strongly recommended that all three sections be taken together as a whole and read in their entirety.
N'joy... 8-D
